updated family pictures.

We try to do a family picture session each year around the kids' birthdays to document their beautiful selves, give pictures to grandparents and have a professional image for Christmas cards! Plus, I don't think you can ever have too many pictures of your kids. They grow so dang fast and I don't want to ever forget each little stage. 

My best friend has taken our pictures several times and she is seriously amazing. Please, if you are in the Western Washington area, look up Heather Mann Photography for more info. Not only is she professional and very talented but she is also so fun and makes the session easy to feel relaxed and comfortable (plus she can make any kids smile, even when they are grumpy and totally done with pictures!).

After our first session got cancelled due to rain we rescheduled and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Because of the kids' December birthdays we usually have pictures with sweaters, boots, scarves and hats. But I decided to take them a few months early and I love how the bright colors accented the scenery.
