Florida - part 2

Carter and his 2nd cousin Nathan walking back to the pool. These boys were so sweet with each other.
Such a fun time swimming with these kids!
More time spent on the golf cart.
We had my grandpa over for dinner a few times. This particular night Carter finally warmed up to him a bit and showed off all his new Lego sets. I don't think Grandpa knew what to do with them all!
One morning we went out to breakfast at our favorite local cafe (since Matt and I have visited FL a few times before we already know our favorite restaurants) before taking the kids to the beach.
Clear Sky Cafe has the BEST french toast I've ever eaten. Ever. It's amazing. Carter though so too. He ate the entire plate.
The beach was so fun. It was a little cold and windy, for those who live in FL and are used to hotter beach weather, but for us it was perfect! The kids ran, played, dug in the sand, waded in the waves and giggled over and over.
My parents were so generous all week. Not only letting us stay at their house, but buying food, making dinners, driving us everywhere, babysitting, spoiling the kids with gifts and making us feel right at home. We had such a great vacation!
