StoneyRidge Farms & Halloween.

>> November 23, 2014

We made our annual trip up to StoneyRidge Farm the weekend before Halloween. We've been going here every year for over 7 years so even though it's a long drive, it's tradition. And we love it.
We met up with our good friends, Todd & Krysten. Their daughter Leah has been taking a picture with Carter every year since they were babies. It started out cute, then was pretty sad one year but this year was great. These 2 were such good friends to each other.
Our of all the pumpkins in the field Lucy only noticed the rotten ones.

Riding the tractor up to the petting farm area.
The kids were so excited to ride the train. It's always a bit hit or miss with this ride. Some years the kids love it and other times they cry the entire time. But there were smiles all around this year!

These two are getting so big.

Our favorite treat of the Halloween season is the homemade apple pie with hot caramel sauce and ice cream. I literally skip lunch just so I can eat this instead. it's so good!

Later that night we had some friends over to carve the pumpkins and roast the seeds. He's never afraid to just dig right in.

The kids lost interest in the actual carving process so the Dads had to take over. Luckily we all had low expectations for jack-o-lanterns.

On Halloween we invited a few families over for trick-or-treating.

A cat, princess, another princess, Wolverine and a knight. Love these kiddos!

One of Carter's favorite treats from his bucket were these vampire teeth. Well....and the candy, of course!
