poolside bingo.

The next morning we relaxed a bit and then headed down to the pool for an early swim. These kids were fish all week, literally having to drag them out at the end of each day! So much so that the boys ended up with swimmer's ear from all that time in the water. But, when you have this for a view, why not spend all day by the pool?!

After a mid morning snack (Simon devoured that huge smoothie!) we went over to Spouting Horn. Of course we timed it perfectly with a quick tropical rainstorm so the kids were less than impressed. Not to worry, a trip to Lapperts for an ice cream cone lunch was perfect!

These two. Their little relationship is so fun to watch. They both just adore each other.

Then, it was back to the pool! One thing I really loved during the week were the extra activities they included for families. This was new to us and allowed for a perfect break when the kids needed some time out of the water. There was jenga, corn hole, ladder ball and even bingo!

And they won ALL the candy. Of course. Ha! We came home with bags and bags of candy bars.

Later that night I took a walk with Carter and Lucy to watch the sunset on the beach. Carter has since said these early morning and late night walks were some of his favorite memories from vacation. It's the little things that really turn out to be the big things for them.
 So pretty.
