marshmallows and basketball, the best of both.

In keeping with our traditions (and following that fun advent tree!) we made our annual marshmallow snowmen last week. We've been doing this for years and it's one of the kids favorite Christmas crafts. And super simple for this non-crafty mom! 

A bag of marshmallows and any random candy or sweets we have laying around and the kids create the cutest little snowmen. 

 Even better? This was the first year none of the kids ate a glue covered marshmallow. Winning!

 Early Saturday morning we headed back to the bball court for another game for Carter. These games are so much more intense than his previous league but also so fun to watch. His team plays so well together and genuinely all love playing as a team. They pass the ball, cheer each other on and really push each other to do better. The last 2 weeks they've had to play older teams but this week came out with a big win, in overtime! Even better, Carter made the game clenching shot in the final seconds and ended up with the biggest smile on his face I've ever seen. Way to go boys!

 And, because December wouldn't be complete without a matching Christmas pj picture...here you go! We headed out last night for our annual drive around the town to see Christmas lights so they slipped on their pj's to be more comfortable. Only a week until Christmas!!
